BERQ8
The BERQ8 is a stock index developed by berqas.com to measure the price performance of eight constituent stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from December 2024 to September 2026. Each stock must represent one of berqas.com’s designated key sectors, which include Mining, Forestry, Livestock, Fisheries, Food, Chemicals, Machinery, and Aerospace.
As of September 2026, the BERQ8 index has officially been closed, and its calculation is no longer being updated. Throughout its tracking period, the index demonstrated strong resilience by outperforming the IDX30 for 16 months. However, despite its impressive gains and robust sector representation, the BERQ8 ultimately ended up slightly underperforming when compared to the S&P 500.
